Bray Electrical is Going Solar

Here in Georgia, we all have a very good idea how strong the sun can be. Advances in technology have come a long way in harnessing the sun’s energy to produce sustainable electricity and heat for your business or home. The development and implementation of solar power into our home and commercial lives are huge steps towards dissolving our dependency on fossil fuels, and are also huge steps towards a greener, cleaner earth. On a more personal scale, converting to solar integration can lower utility bills and often qualifies for federal and state tax incentives. Learn more about federal and state incentives by visiting the Database of State Incentives for Renewables + Efficiency (DSIRE.)

Dana Thompson, our Operations Manager, is excited about his current training in solar integration and installation. To him, moving towards clean energy ”just makes sense.” His concerns about rising energy costs and pollution and his hope for the development of sustainable, green energy have one focus: leaving the earth better than he found it for his children.

We’re very excited to announce that Bray Electrical will soon offer solar integration installation services. Learn more about where we’re headed - and how solar integration installation can work for you - as we develop the solar services that we will soon offer:  http://www.nrel.gov/learning/re_solar.html. Stay tuned for updates and details!

Did you know: Georgia is one of the few states that does not require someone to be a licensed electrical contractor to install a photovoltaic system. Make sure to protect yourself and your home or business by only hiring a licensed and insured electrical contractor for installation. At Bray Electrical, we are licensed and insured, and are proud to have two State of Georgia Class 2 unrestricted licensed electrical contractors on staff.
